CHARLOTTE, N.C. – C5 Insight, in partnership with Ventureprise and Charlotte Research Institute (CRI), has opened a new office on the University of North Carolina, Charlotte campus. The brand new facility is known as the PORTAL Building, which stands for Partnership, Outreach and Research to Accelerate Learning.

Managing Partner Curtis Hughes, an alumnus of UNC Charlotte, describes the partnership as “A unique way to be back on campus, connecting with students, and in a position to really contribute and give back to the community.  One of the ways that we intend to do so is through educational seminars.  We now have a state-of the-art facility, and we plan to make use of this fantastic new space in the UNC Charlotte PORTAL building to expand those initiatives.”

Playing host to both business ventures and student opportunities, PORTAL offers valuable resources to its tenants by connecting them to regional innovators and new talent while providing research and business development tools in a modern building with leading edge technology.  From video and telecommunications features to strategic and analytical support, businesses have much to gain by collaborating around the building and across the vast network of corporate partners involved with CRI.  The PORTAL Building is located in the CRI gateway to the UNC Charlotte Campus at 9319 Robert D. Snyder Rd, Charlotte, NC 28223.
